Satisfying the full scope of patient's needs

Creating Radiant Smiles

Cosmetic Dentistry Frisco

Though our focus at Frisco Family Dentistry is on providing for our patients’ oral health, we understand the impact that a beautiful smile can have on a person’s self-esteem and self-confidence. For this reason, we offer a full range of cosmetic dentistry treatments to help improve our patients’ smiles. Whether your smile is functionally compromised or you are simply seeking to improve the appearance of your smile through a whitening treatment, cosmetic dentistry can provide an effective, appealing solution. If your oral health is severely impacted, restorative dentistry treatment may be better suited to your needs. During a personal consultation with Dr. Dominic Nuosce, you can discuss your goals and determine which treatment is right for you.

Teeth Whitening

We offer two different methods of take-home professional teeth whitening treatments at our dental practice. Though a number of over-the-counter teeth whitening products are available, the results that they provide can vary drastically and these results cannot match those that are possible through professional treatment. With professional teeth whitening, we can whiten more selectively to better match the desired esthetic outcome. This simple procedure can revitalize a person’s smile, particularly individuals whose teeth are free of chips and cracks, and in good alignment.

Tooth-colored Fillings

At Frisco Family Dentistry, we utilize tooth-colored fillings not only because they are more aesthetically appealing, but because they are more versatile, require less tooth structure be removed, and can be more securely bonded to the teeth. If you have a cavity, chipped or cracked tooth, or area of decay or extreme wear that requires treatment, tooth-colored composite fillings can be used to restore the trouble area. The composite can be precisely shaped to match the contours of your teeth, and the filling chemically bonds to the teeth for improved support. Once the filling is in place, it is inconspicuous and natural-looking.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers can correct a number of cosmetic flaws, including chips, cracks, discoloration, and minor malocclusion, or misalignment. Thin, lightweight ceramic shells, porcelain veneers are bonded to the surfaces of teeth to restore their appearance. Because the restorations are fabricated to meet the specific needs of each patient, they blend in seamlessly with other teeth. Additionally, porcelain allows light to pass through it, as natural tooth enamel does, making veneers lifelike in their appearance. The placement of veneers is minimally invasive; a small amount of enamel is removed from the teeth being treated to provide space for the restoration and to ensure proper bonding.

Crowns and Bridges

Crowns and bridges, though aesthetically pleasing, can actually be considered restorative treatments. Teeth that are damaged, decayed, or severely malformed can be capped by dental crowns, and gaps between teeth can be filled with dental bridges. These restorations, made from natural-looking porcelain, not only restore the appearance of damaged, decayed, or missing teeth, but also the functionality. Whereas veneers are used only for superficial or cosmetic flaws, dental crowns and bridges can be employed to improve a patient’s overall oral health.

Invisalign® is a faster, easier alternative to traditional braces.  Popular with teenagers and adults, this method straightens teeth with clear plastic aligners that are invisible to the eye and removable for cleaning and eating.  Most patients can complete treatment in under a year, about half the time of traditional braces, and without the pain and hygienic issues associated with metal wire. The dentist creates a series of custom aligners to suit individual needs and gradually move teeth into optimal position.  Invisalign® is an effective alternative for most people, including those with serious overcrowding or gaps in their teeth and overbite/underbite problems.
